Our Story
The Phoenix Group was established in 2005 by Hammond Produce, a £20 million farming business based in Nottinghamshire. With over a century of agricultural expertise behind us, we bring extensive experience in handling, packing and distribution.
As specialists in oils, we process and pack millions of bottles each year, applying our knowledge and insight to meet the complex and ever-changing needs of our customers. Whatever your product and whatever your challenge, you can trust Phoenix to deliver the right solution.
Growth and
Evolution
Our reputation for quality quickly grew, and by 2010, we had become the UK’s largest cold pressed seed oil producer. That same year, we expanded our services to include contract filling, labelling, and packing for our co-packing customers, managing all aspects of food production, from initial development and lab testing to despatch and logistics.
Current
Operations
We now handle millions of products annually, worth almost £10 million in combined retail value for our customers. We have become the contract packer of choice for a growing number of national and international brands, thanks to our flexibility, expertise, and unwavering focus on quality.
Our 40,000 sq ft factory houses three bottling systems capable of handling 25 million bottles a year combined. Our contract packing facility is fully certified to BRCGS standards for food safety and our five cold presses and filtration systems make us the largest cold pressing facility in the UK.
